Cheers to 5 Years, Angie!

We’re excited to celebrate Angie Streckenbach, who has officially reached her 5-year milestone at Thrive!

As a licensed architect with nearly two decades of experience, Angie brings not only expertise but also leadership—backed by her M.B.A. Certificate in Leadership. She launched Thrive’s presence in our Appleton office and continues to grow the business while building lasting industry connections.

From Highland Crest Baptist Church and Fetch Play & Sip (an indoor dog park with a twist!) to Wolf River CBRF, SouthEast Eye Clinic, and a variety multifamily developments — Angie has proven her ability to design across many sectors.

When asked what she’s most proud of at Thrive, Angie shared: “I enjoy the challenge of working within existing parameters—so a redevelopment opportunity like creating apartments in a former nursing home at Riverpark Apartments was a fun one for me while at Thrive.”

Outside the office, you’ll find Angie on the golf course, reading by the campfire, or experimenting with her sourdough starter (yes, it’s been going strong for years!). Her day starts with hot black coffee and often winds down with a chai latte.

We’re grateful for Angie’s talent, leadership, and energy—and can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds!

Cheers to 1 Year with Thrive, Jonathan!

We’re excited to celebrate Jonathan Tews on his first anniversary with Thrive! Based in our Madison office, Jon brings incredible energy, collaboration, and design expertise to every project. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture degree from UW Milwaukee and has been a valuable part of our team ever since.

Some of Jon’s proudest projects include Southern Lakes Church, Wauwatosa Self Storage, and the Vertical Investments Residence (Simic House). His first year at Thrive, Jonathan has enjoyed company outings, the holiday party, our 10-year alley celebration, as well as site walkthroughs and design collaboration across the office.

Outside of work, Jon is just as active—golfing with friends and family, playing softball through the summer and fall, and snowboarding during the winter months. His go-to snack is a classic combo of a candy bar and soda, and here’s a fun fact: Jon studied martial arts for eight years and earned a 2nd degree black belt!

We’re grateful for everything Jon contributes to Thrive, and we can’t wait to see all that he’ll accomplish in the years ahead.

Edgar shares: “I find inspiration in expressing my artistic talent through the design and construction process, bringing unique ideas to life.”

We’re so glad Edgar is part of the Thrive team and can’t wait to see the amazing projects he’ll create in the years ahead!

Welcome Our Newest Architectural Intern - Jorden Romano

Thrive Architects LLC is excited to welcome Jorden Romano to our Waukesha office as our summer intern!

Jorden is entering his final year at Waukesha County Technical College, where he is pursuing an associate degree in Architectural Drafting and Interior Design. His passion for architecture and computer modeling began in high school, where introductory courses sparked his interest and set him on the path toward a career in the built environment.

Outside the office, Jorden is an avid animal lover and proud owner of a chocolate lab named Scout. He enjoys spending time outdoors, especially fishing and riding his motorcycle whenever possible.

We’re thrilled to have him on the team and look forward to supporting his continued growth as he gains hands-on experience with us this summer!
