Our 2024 Commitment: A Sense of Humor

𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗢𝗥: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵. Somedays our job gets a little hectic, but there’s no doubt that we live by the ‘𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝, 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝’ motto. Between stories amongst friends or a little friendly competition of office games, the great thing about Thrive is that everyday there is sure to be laughter. You’ve got to love what you do and have fun doing the work.

Thrive believes in honesty and communicating through the process will continue to allow our clients to have success with their project. Something else we agree is important to creating the best team, and thereby the best product, is to be surrounded by hardworking and driven people. We need everyone in the Company to demonstrate a - 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱. We want each of our team members to set moral principles, create a sound structure of values and hold themselves accountable to each project they participate in. And by doing that, we believe our clients will be prosperous and 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘.

Waukesha Memorial Statue - Main Street - Conceptual Design

𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙅𝙀𝘾𝙏 𝙎𝙋𝙊𝙏𝙇𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏: WAUKESHA PARADE MEMORIAL - MAIN STREET

From conceptual design to finished sculpture, Thrive Architects couldn’t be more proud to take part of this architectural design. When tragedy arises, we are able to create a piece that symbolizes the strength of the families that were involved and the community that surrounds them. Little do we know if and how many people our designs will help 𝙏𝙃𝙍𝙄𝙑𝙀 past this unforgivable tragedy.

As we stride into 2024, we continue to share what makes us 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲. The next Core Value we want to talk about is 𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗬 & 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗢𝗥. While these two words may be similar, we believe to be trustworthy of our Clients, we must be clear in communication and transparent in our actions. Within our organization this is just as important, we ask questions, hold each other accountable, and take responsibility for what we do. We strive to offer a clear and consistent experience for everyone, as always ensuring our clients Thrive. To do all of this, we must hold to the values of Honesty and Candor throughout the design process.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: Modern Lake Home

At Thrive Architects, we tend to be selective with the custom homes that we commission. But this one of kind modern home design lends itself to be one of our project spotlights. Set in a pristine wooded lot overlooking a 2,000 acre lake in Wisconsin, this modern home boasts a rooftop indoor garden which sits over the 3.5 car garage and consists of an open concept modern interior with impressive views of the lake. While many high-end homes use the bigger is better mindset, this home was designed around the idea of being the “perfect size” and feels much larger than it is. Functionality of spatial relationships to the exterior and a layout that balances an open well connected common space along with privacy for the more intimate spaces makes this house total perfection. We are proud of the design and couldn’t wait to share as our product spotlight.

Thrive Architects is excited to start the new year with new goals! One of our goals is to introduce you to Thrive’s Core Values.
Communication is at the top of our list. We believe everything starts and ends here. Without communication the process breaks down and the outcome will undoubtedly disappoint. Our goal is to see our client’s THRIVE and have a successful partnership with each project. For those reasons we commit to our clients, and to our peers that Thrive Architects will provide GOOD COMMUNICATION in everything that we do!

Wrapping up 2023

As we start 2024 and reflect on 2023 we are proud of the journey and accomplishments! We have continued to grow our team which will allow us to serve our clients with knowledge, continued communication and quality designs.

Our Appleton office hosted an open house and celebrated with a ribbon cutting in June. The Appleton Office continues to grow our network and became active in two local Commerce Chambers.

In the Madison office we established a home base (7818 Big Sky Drive Ste 209, Madison, WI). Stop in and say Hi! More news to come on that in 2024. We also became members of Downtown Madison Inc. (DMI).

In the Waukesha and Greater Milwaukee Area, we are proud of the construction progress happening at Castle Senior Living - New Berlin which is due to be completed in Winter of 2024. We were able to honor the community from the Waukesha Parade by having the Main Street Parade Memorial installed and joined in at the memorial ceremony on November 21. We continue to work with the City of Waukesha to develop the Parade Memorial at Grede Park. We also hosted our first Wauk-Tober event in our Waukesha office! It was a great time to let loose and connect on a personnel level. We created a leadership committee to continually bring improvement to our operations and clients.

We take pride in all that we have accomplishment. We can’t wait to see how 2024 will treat us. We look forward to striving to be better for our customers and continue to help them THRIVE.
