Meet Ava

 

Thrive Architects LLC is pleased to announce Ava Greeley has joined the Thrive Architects team as an Architectural Associate. Within this role, Ava will take part in all stages of the architectural design process, but will primarily focus on architectural drafting and project coordination.

Ava comes to Thrive Architects LLC with her BSAS in Architecture as a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her interest in architecture stems from spending time as the set designer and stage manager for 7 high school theatrical productions. Those experiences allowed Ava to express architectural creativity and develop strong design skills.

Outside of the office, Ava enjoys camping and spending time outdoors. When it is too cold for camping, she also enjoys spending her free time painting, crocheting, and exploring local shops.

Ava’s goal is to provide support to clients so their creative and architectural endeavors can Thrive.

Keaton welcomed by Thrive

Thrive Architects LLC is pleased to announce Keaton J Verstegen has joined the Thrive Architects team as an Architectural Associate at our new Appleton office. Within this role, Keaton will take part in all stages of the architectural design process, but will primarily focus on architectural drafting and project coordination.

Keaton comes to Thrive Architects LLC with his BSAS in Architecture as a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He has recently started the licensing process to receive his registration through the State of Wisconsin. Prior to pursuing his license in Architecture, Keaton spent some time working with a general contractor on various Municipal, Educational, and Medical projects. Those experiences have given Keaton a unique perspective on the construction process and the necessary elements required to complete a project.

Outside of the office, Keaton enjoys designing and building furniture, woodworking, and computer repair. It’s those interests that further serve to provide support to the Thrive Architects team. Keaton brings a passion for helping small businesses and entrepreneurs find success, following our mission statement, of ensuring that our clients THRIVE.

Entering our 7th year of operation Thrive Architects continues to grow. In this short time our Commercial Architectural Practice has been recognized for numerous groundbreaking developments.  Based in Waukesha, Wisconsin recently our firm opened a second office in Appleton, Wisconsin.  We are seeking energetic, self-motivated, vibrant individuals to join our team in both office locations.

 

Our main design specialties are Senior Care, Religious, Animal Wellness, Healthcare and Recreational.  However, our design experience is very broad.  We have contracts for a wide variety of project types at this time.  We can guarantee an opportunity for diverse project experience for anyone that joins our team.  We offer the ability to grow, manage and cultivate your career in the direction you desire.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Thrive Architects is seeking all experience levels in architecture to work in either our Waukesha or Appleton office locations. The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in Architecture.  A good working knowledge of AutoCAD (or Revit), Sketchup and Photoshop is preferred.  The successful candidate would ideally be a long-term fit with an opportunity to grow with the firm.  The candidate should be energetic, passionate about architecture, excited to consistently pursue opportunities, fun and easy to work with.   We work in a team setting whereby open conversation, deadlines and tasks are shared with the entire office.  The ideal candidate should consider themselves a "people person" that is flexible and like's working in a team setting.

 

The following skills and traits are ideal for consideration:

-AutoCAD or Revit (moderate level of knowledge)

-Microsoft Office (basic skill level)

-Sketch up (moderate level of knowledge)

-Basic Understanding of Architectural Drawing Production

-Good Communication Skills

-Photoshop (basic knowledge)

-Passion for Architecture

 

Any of the following skills will give preference to a candidate for consideration:

-Oculus Rift and Unity 3D

-Minor in Business

-Minor in Arts

-Experience in any Computer Rendering Programs

-Marketing/Graphic Design Experience

-Previous work in Architecture and/or Construction

-Licensed Architect
